The qualified candidate will work closely
with a diverse and talented team of engineers, developing innovative and cost-effective Next Generation Multifunctional AESAs that support a broad range of Mission Systems products.
Applicants are expected to apply strong leadership and advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to contribute to the development of novel AESAs and Received/Exciter architectures. This position will support our Advanced Engineering Business Unit, located in Baltimore, MD. The candidate should have demonstrated technical expertise, leadership, and experience in one or more of the following areas: Active electronically scanned arrays (AESAs) and/or Digital AESAs Highly integrated subsystems including
DREX and Antenna Hardware Subsystem requirements (hardware and software) derivation, flow-down, and configuration Documentation/generation of test procedures, test reports, RF requirements, data analysis, data presentation Digital Beam Forming Antenna/RF Hardware Performance Analysis Subsystem Control Design Embedded real time software and digital systems Conducting Test Readiness Reviews and/or Design Readiness Reviews Familiarity with RF subsystem development & analysis tool including Keysight ADS Comfortable creating RF applications and tools using MATLAB Set up and test hardware in a lab/bench top environment Develop test plans to support engineering development efforts Executing subsystem and system level testing - both in engineering development and manufacturing environments Concept development of operation for integration and test activities This technical leadership positions require the candidates to have Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Higher clearance is a plus. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 14 years of experience in the areas described in the job description or 12 years of experience with a Master's Degree, or 9 years of experience with a Ph.
D. Active Do D Secret Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance 3+ years of experience working in with RF Hardware Experience leading a team of engineers Strong interpersonal and people management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively present to engineers/ leaderships/ customers Able to work both independently and as part of a team Able to multi-task, delegate, and prioritize tasks effectively Willingness to work on site at our facility located in Baltimore, MD Preferred Qualifications: Active Do D Clearance higher than Do D Secret Experience using MATLAB Experience using Python Experience with technical leadership supporting AESA hardware development Salary Range: $157,500 - $236,300The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
