Open up opportunities with HPE. Job Description: Engineering Manager Job Responsibilities: Designs, implements and refines product development design practices. Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel.

Works closely with developing team members to help them plan and grow their careers. Works closely with team members to maintain the existing atmosphere of a unified team with a unified support structure.

Leads team in the development of new products, solutions and processes. Oversees project logistics and resource allocation. Strives to continually improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs. Secures the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching

and proposing capital investments. Helps to create project budgets and engages when needed in cost management strategies.

Attends trade shows and conferences and makes site visits to suppliers and customer facilities. Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers. Advocates on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success. Maintains high level expertise in the engineering field. Assures that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines. Collaborates with other team leaders and departments.
