Monitor and optimize the performance and utilization of terminal services and cloud resources, using tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS Cloud Watch, and Windows Performance Monitor.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to terminal services, networking, and cloud infrastructure, using tools such as Azure Network Watcher, AWS VPC Flow Logs, and Windows Event Viewer. Document and update the design, configuration, and operation of terminal services and cloud solutions, using tools such as Azure Dev
Ops, AWS Cloud Formation, and Windows Power Shell. Own and design the applications intake process for terminal services, ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.
Implement automation and patching strategies for terminal services and cloud environments, using tools such as Azure Automation, AWS Systems Manager, and Windows Update. Qualification and Experience: BS in math, computer science, engineering or relevant field required At least 5 years of experience in MS Terminal Services, including Remote Desktop Services, Remote App, and Remote Desktop Gateway. At least 3 years of experience in Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies, including virtual machines, application streaming,
networking, security, and storage. Strong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT, and firewalls.
Experience in network segmentation and server hardening, using best practices and tools such as Azure Security Center, AWS Security Hub, and Windows Defender. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to terminal services, networking, and cloud infrastructure. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Certifications in MS Terminal Services, Azure, and AWS are preferred. ITIL Foundation. Experienced with aligning the organization and communicating complex technical decisions. Excellent written, verbal, negotiation.
