Engineering Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drafting knowledge using Auto CAD and Solid Works. Creating BOM’s and Materials in Baa N, SAP, and Windchill.
Creating and Publishing internal Work Instructions and Process Specifications. Supporting projects for product development and product improvement. Collaborating with designers, engineers, and technicians. Assisting in the gathering, organization, and analysis of data relating to engineering sponsored projects throughout the Americas; this may include traveling to our Ener Sys facilities to coordinate prototype builds, new product/process introduction, special testing, assembly trials, and material or process evaluation.
Providing technical assistance on an as-needed basis to Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Service, Purchasing, Quality, and other members of the Engineering Team on special projects as they develop through the normal course of business Support OEM Specs maintenance with design data validation.
Assisting Sales with conceptual designs for unique applications. Other functions and responsibilities as deemed necessary. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree and equivalent of 2 years in related Engineering position. At least 2 years’ experience with Solidworks.
