Reviewing and providing test reports on completion of testing to show those results and verification matrix to states requirements, which includes data analysis of raw data and generating written and graphical representation
of the results. Interfacing with test houses – quoting packages for testing, timing coordination and technical support for third party testing. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must have a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in a related position.
At least (2) years of experience with or knowledge of: Testing lithium-ion batteries under various safety standards. Battery chemistry and characteristics of different capacity cells. Schematic analysis and circuit evaluation. Using Python to write test automation scripts and data analysis. Working with third party test houses to
test product in cost-effective and well executed manner.
Report writing, analysis and compliance test procedures for internal and external tests. Regulatory frameworks like UL, UN, IEC, and IEE. Auto CAD, Creo or similar mechanical design tools to design test equipment and product analysis. Altium, Fusion 360 or similar electrical design tools to design prototypes and test circuits. Must be able and willing to travel domestically/internationally to various unanticipated employer and client locations to provide technical support up to 30%. Experience can be concurrent.
