Determining the acceptability of micro features of metallographic samples from production forgings. Communicating new part qualifications and necessary technical requirements, from a heat treat or testing standpoint, to Production teams before approving the release of a respective product. Preparing documentation for customer qualification approval to ensure on-time delivery. Maintaining and updating manufacturing and technology instruction manuals, as necessary. Converting, translating, and communicating specified customer requirements to the Test Lab and Production staff, such as test quantity and numerical value to assure that all requirements are met.
Evaluating test results in comparison to customer requirements. Implementing continuous improvement and stability activities for critical processes. Developing and maintaining QA programs, specifications, procedures, and equipment to meet customer specifications and Howmet quality requirements.
