Preparing and maintaining annual nondestructive testing programs (FWD, skid resistance, and surface profile). Assisting and participating in yearly conferences, workshops and programs. Reviewing pavement design and life cycle costs from Illinois DOT districts. Maintaining the mechanistic pavement monitoring program and coordinating data input for the database. Reviewing and analyzing contract pavement roughness data

As Field Engineer, you will be responsible for: Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as: X-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high-end PC's.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example:

Desired Characteristics Successful applicants will be well versed in diagnosing electronic hardware problems, mechanical problems with CNC table, software troubleshooting in a windows-based environment. Solid verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and write English, Intermediate math skills. Strong Computer skills with familiarity Windows and MS Office products Able to read/understand schematics and use oscilloscopes/digital multi-meters. Fundamental electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills.
