Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X-ray Testing machine hardware and software products at Waygate and customer locations. Travel expected in excess of 70%. As Field Engineer, you will be responsible for: Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as: X-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high-end PC's.
Provide customers with technical support via phone and onsite service Timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements. Responsible for driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality
service standards. Monitor site safety during work scope execution. Hold US Citizenship (THIS IS DUE TO CLIENT ENTRY RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN SITES). Ability to travel overnight approximately 70% of the time.
Required Qualifications Possess a two year technical degree (AEET, AMET) and at least 4 years of previous experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment OR Possess a four-year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME). The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example:
verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record and educational background.
Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport). Desired Characteristics Successful applicants will be well versed in diagnosing electronic hardware problems, mechanical problems with CNC table, software troubleshooting in a windows-based environment. Solid verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and write English, Intermediate math skills. Strong Computer skills with familiarity Windows and MS Office products Able to read/understand schematics and use oscilloscopes/digital multi-meters. Fundamental electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills.

Makes rounds of buildings’ boiler and mechanical rooms at regular intervals to backss the operation and efficiency of all machinery and equipment and to detect potential mechanical problems. Test and records water used for consumption or used for other systems and adds appropriate chemicals as needed for proper maintenance of systems. Confers with Center with Center staff, Facilities Manager or Region Manager to resolve problems related to building services.

Requires four (4) years’ experience in power plant operation and in firing high pressure and/or low pressure stationary boilers. Conditions of Employment Requires possession of or the ability to obtain a valid certificate as a Universal Technician under USEPA Section 308 Rules. Requires the ability to perform various tasks such as lifting and moving equipment/machinery up to 50 pounds (up to 100 pounds with assistance).
