Essential Responsibilities Determines method of shipment and arranges shipments. Identifies most cost effective shipping methods with Management and Purchasing. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measurements. Unpack incoming shipments (as appropriate) and transfer the material
to designated storage areas or department. Deliver invoices and other documents arriving with shipments to responsible individual or work area.
Pack outgoing shipments. Generate documents of items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Maintain adequate supplies to facilitate shipping operations. Follow and document procedures such as MSP MC-001 and MSP MC-002. Maintains shipping and receiving area. Update and maintain on time delivery schedule.
