About the Opportunity This is an open position with the First Energy Service Company, a subsidiary of First Energy Corp.

[SC00]As part of a newly created center of excellence team in the Supply Chain organization, this position will have responsibility to develop and lead projects delivering predominantly new vendor software to the First Energy Supply Chain organization and in some cases, to all of First Energy. Responsibilities include:

Coordinate activities of the Supply Chain subject matter experts and internal and external stakeholders including operating company representatives, consultants, and IT employees Implement new software tools in the e Procurement, risk, market intelligence, and warehouse management areas Complete projects on-scope, on-schedule, and on-budget Qualifications include: Bachelor or Associates Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management or related field, or related work experience Strong project management education, skills and background Experience coordinating project activities with consultants and subject matter experts in IT and

non-IT organizations 10+ years of experience managing complex, technical software implementations Subject matter expertise in software change control processes and movement of software changes through test and production environments Subject matter expertise in application development methodology including defining a project, requirements analysis, design, construct, test, implementation, and post implementation activities Able to provide advice and guidance to leadership on areas that will significantly impact operations and goals Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Word Detail-oriented, motivated, focused, and hard-working Superior written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to executives within or outside the department Ability to lead and coach individuals without a direct reporting relationship Preferred Qualifications include: Experience developing detailed schedules for a portfolio of projects with various individual milestones Experience running projects to implement enterprise-wide software applications Ability to learn new concepts in information technology, learn the characteristics of new systems and update skills to adapt to changing technology Project management certification a plus but not required Familiarity with Supply Chain processes is preferred Experience with the Coupa application a plus but not required Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity At First Energy, employees are key to our success.
