We're looking for talented experts in managing the risks involved in developing emerging technologies, including the technical risks at the research and development stage and the planning to enable establishment of a secure supply chain
for these technologies. This position will involve leading the strategic planning process for high-risk technology and product development efforts. A candidate with experience in risk management and/or supply chain management is highly desired.
As a Technology Risk Management and Supply Chain Planning Lead, you will: - Identify risks, issues and opportunities for specific emerging technologies, both from a research and development perspective and toward planning potential paths for establishing secure supply chains for these technologies; - Guide the overall strategy for addressing these risks, issues and opportunities, including the prioritization for how these are managed; - Develop
and assist with the development of supply chain plans and strategies, including research and defining supply chain methodologies; - Guide the execution of end-to-end supply chain solutions and related logistics; - Facilitate effective communication and coordination with technical and business management teams, including coordinating on risk management across both technical and programmatic factors.
SKILLS Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and possess a range of knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas: - 5+ years of experience in roles developing and optimizing technical plans for activities with high uncertainty; - Lead the successful planning of a high-risk technology or product development effort; - Account for contingency plans and risk mitigation activities in schedules.

This position is hiring for Maryland. Salary Range: $97,876 - $183,500 (Full Performance, Senior, Expert)Advancement: Cross-organizational mentoring is highly encouraged and readily available for all employees.
