the execution of technical processes. The Service Now Platform Engineer will help develop standards and practices for maintaining the Service Now architecture model. RESPONSIBILITIES Support design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption.
Provide technical evaluation of demands against Service Now platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices. Responsible for platform integrations. Guide Service Now Platform design, including considerations for integration and performance. backss architecture and solution designs to support objectives including alignment with Service Now implementation best practices.
Offer guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment. Advise on configuration and coding standards. Support remediation of configurations not aligned to Service Now best practices.
backss instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting Service Now Health Scan. Provide consultative technical leadership to the platform team. Provide architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions. Resolve technical escalations, including responding to defects. Participate in process workshops. Work with other company architects, as necessary. Assist in migrating
configuration across instances. REQUIREMENTS 5 years of Service Now administration experience.
Knowledge/Experience in Service Now core architecture. Excellent communication skills. Work Schedule is hybrid with 2-3 days per week on-site in Cincinnati, OH. Preferred additional skills Service Now Certified System Administrator/Developer/Implementor or related certifications. Expertise with CMDB, Service Mapping, Software and Hardware Asset Management.
