Senior Process Engineer LOCATION: Lake Charles I. SUMMARY OF POSITION: · Sr. Process Engineering provides technical direction to group members. They ensure technical and commercial quality in project deliverables-primary responsibility for overall task force performance on safety, quality, budget, and Schedule.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops process simulation models Develops conceptual process designs Develops Schedule A process design packages Leads process design teams Develops and direct process unit test runs Creates large-cap process designs Creates process design and process unit evaluation reports Directly interfaces with clients Provides training and mentoring to group process
engineers Develops economic justification for process design projects Interfaces with the multidiscipline detailed design group Assists Sr. Estimator and Scheduler in the development of cost estimating, scheduling, and resource allocation Tracks process engineering project costs and budgets Actively pursues professional engineering license (if not already licensed) III.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: B. S. in Chemical Engineering 10+ years of experience in refinery process engineering Extensive HYSYS or PROII simulation experience Extensive background in process design Relevant process project management experience General understanding of refinery economics and planning API RP 520/521 and pressure
relief system analysis and design experience P. E. license preferred Available for short-term travel IV.
