The ISSE III is a journeyman role with solid experience in software updates and patches, vendor licensing management, security planning, and risk management. The ISSE II takes direction from more senior personnel. Required Qualifications: Do D 8570.1.01-m IAT Level II Certification. Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline. 5 years of position-specific relevant experience. 6 years of overall IT/IS experience. Experience with IA tools in audit collection, audit review, audit management, and with SIEM

software. Preferred Qualifications: Experience and/or certifications associated with RMF, ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 or DCID 6/3.

Experience in current authorization practices, particularly within the Do D. Windows, Linux, UNIX, Cisco, SQL or Oracle databases, virtualized systems, Red Hat Enterprise License (RHEL) Linux 7, ACAS, Tenable, and one or more SIEM certifications.
