Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day support of engineering operations for assigned department. Learn and understand the engineering operations
in assigned department. Compile, prepare and present data for project updates and technical presentations to stakeholders.
Interface with plant Engineering, Production, Quality and Planning teams, as well as outside technical support vendors Identify improvement opportunities, develop solutions and review with Senior Engineering Lead Conduct Design of Experiments; create reports from learnings and present data to stakeholders Run laboratory tests on product returns and design test fixtures as needed. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on Mechanical Engineering Experienced using Microsoft Products including Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience in CAD or Solid Works.
Understand and demonstrate engineering terms & concepts. Willingness and desire to develop a career in Engineering. Creative, flexible and deadline oriented with a basic understanding of project management (planning, organizing, priority setting). Demonstrates resourcefulness as well as team and interpersonal skills to participate in cross-functional teams. Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position. Excellent written and oral communications are required. US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
