We are looking for a Marine Engineer II to join our organization Location: Chesapeake, VA We are seeking an engaged and talented Marine Engineer II for our Chesapeake, VA operations to support the development of steel, aluminum, and composite recreational vessels, commercial ship designs,

and U. S. Government platforms from 20’ to 250’ feet in length. Candidate / Positions Requirements Must be a U. S. Citizen Active Secret Security Clearance is Preferred.

BS in Engineering, Naval Architecture or an equivalent Engineering Discipline 2+ years of marine engineering experience. Knowledge and experience with auxiliary systems (i. e. pumping and distribution systems for fluid systems, seawater, fresh water, fuel) and equipment (refrigeration units, pumps, motors, A/C units). Knowledge and experience with HVAC System design and performing heating and cooling load calculations. Knowledge and experience with ship integration of these systems as well as environmental qualification

to ensure appropriate ship integration is a key capability. Knowledge and experience with developing ship design specifications and familiarity with ship design classifications (ABS).

Pay Range: Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
