Engineer within Space and Mission Engineering. Your responsibilities are to write Requests for Changes (RFCs) for GEOINT Software systems, interfaces, and specifications.

Responsibilities include: Holding Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with developers and engineers to gather requirements, interface, and specification updates Redline changes to existing requirements Initialize and lead RFCs through community review and Engineering Review Board(s) backss impacts from other author’s Requests for Changes (RFCs) Update architecture artifacts (e. g. system views, functional views,

Responsibilities Standard Job Description: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation,
maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
