Design algorithms to efficiently manage and process large amounts of metadata and data from the data store of clients; research how to automatically extract information from a variety of different cloud computing environments; and develop software systems based on these environments.
Requirements: Bachelors in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Electronics Engineering PLUS 2 years of experience as a systems engineer, software developer or data scientist OR Masters in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Electronics Engineering and 9 months of experience in at least two
of the following: experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages such as R, Python, or SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets; experience creating data architectures; experience in statistical and data mining techniques such as GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, or social network analysis; experience analyzing data from third party providers; or experience with distributed data/computing tools such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, or My SQL.
