Oversees the Issues Management team for Construction including the creation/closure of corrective action plans (CAPs) and Condition Reports (CRs) as applicable. Helps coordinate and manage the field engineering turnover process and deliverables with the Start Up in preparation for system turnovers. Prepares and executes site mobilization and demobilization plans. Directs the design of temporary construction facilities as required. Maintains the temporary utilities site plans. S. Degree in Engineering or similar and 8 years of experience. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment, education and travel. Self-starter, highly motivated, requiring little supervision, and able to work well in a team environment. Must be proficient in work process development and implementation. Must be proficient in cost and schedule analysis. Must have knowledge of most phases of construction operations relating to field activities, of all engineering disciplines, and jobsite management. Must have direct hire execution experience on projects of $300M or greater. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of current design codes and standards such as NEC, API, ACI, ASME as well as NFPA requirements. Knowledge of environmental compliance standards required on construction projects.
Preferred Qualifications Prior U. S. construction experience as a Field Engineer or Superintendent. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of the phases of project scoping, planning, and execution relating to the construction of multi-discipline works. Knowledge of the basic tenants of ISO9000 and AS9100.
