Your greatest work is ahead! Leidos is hiring for a Dev Ops Engineer / SRE in Columbia, MD. You will serve on a mission-critical project that will leverage your skills to ensure delivery of a premier Security Operations Center (SOC) prototype solution to the customer.
This position is contingent upon contract award. What you’ll be doing: Develop and maintain cloud-based and Kubernetes-based prototype environments in support of the prototype development efforts. Help lead development of a prototype Security Operations Center (SOC) capability for the customer. What does Leidos need from me? Active Top Secret security clearance required. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
or similar field and five plus years of relevant software development or testing experience.
Candidate must have at least four plus years of prior relevant cloud engineering experience. Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of years of experience. Implementation Experience with AWS or Azure. Experience setting up and maintaining Kubernetes-based environments. Working knowledge of networking, firewalls, TCP/IP, and a working knowledge of cybersecurity principles. Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to communicate technical concepts. Demonstrated experience with scripting Languages including Python and Power Shell Scripting.
Proficiency with at least one Database Management System. Working knowledge of Agile development and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/DC) methodologies and tools. Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Favorable if you have: Experience with Cybersecurity products SIEM, SOAR, endpoint security products, or network security products. Experience on an Agile software development team. Dev Sec Ops experience, service management, and container to cluster migration. Bachelor's degree in science, technical, or engineering discipline.
AWS Cloud or Microsoft Azure Certifications. Pay Range: Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
