Support product development activities where the goal will be increasing competitiveness by reducing installed capital cost or optimizing the project engineering hours within the Process Controls offers. 10. Product development work may require production of design specifications including instruments, control valves, analytical analytical equipment, DCS equipment, SIS equipment and other Process Controls deliverables.

Domestic and international travel to other Air Products facilities, customer locations and plant sites is estimated to be up to 15% of the time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field with at least 10 years of applicable work experience. Experience in Functional safety applications. Experience developing control applications with Siemens PCS7 and Step7. Additional experience with other controls platforms is a plus. Detail experience in Control and Instrumentation applications. Demonstrable technical competence, effective communication, and be a self-motivated team player with a willingness to accept responsibility.

Ability to work under pressure and be comfortable with ambiguity. Experience in Green Hydrogen, Ammonia and Electrolyzer systems would be beneficial.
