The World Rides on Us" Position Purpose: In this position the intern/co-op will be exposed to a variety of Manufacturing Engineering functions at a manufacturing plant level. Essential Functions: Assist in defining new assembly standards. Create and revise work instructions for processes.
Fixture design and fabrication. Data analysis. Other projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 Effective oral, written, and PC skills mandatory Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required 3D modeling experience in CREO/Pro E is preferred Ability to
manage multiple projects and have strong planning skills Ability to communicate with employees in a 1 on 1 or group setting Self motivated and willing to learn Ability to handle confidential information professionally Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to use measuring devices (digital calipers, micrometers, etc) Ability to work in standard and metric units Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position frequently.
Must be comfortable in an industrial environment. Minimally need to move about inside office and plant designated area. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Safety glasses, hearing protection,

as assigned. Education and Training Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Minimum of a 3.0 GPAMinimum Qualifications Working towards a Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field required.
Knowledge of basic engineering fundamentals included but not limited to: statics, dynamics, physics, calculus and materials required. Effective written, oral and PC skills required (emphasis on Excel). Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
