Job Summary Responsible for providing specific product and/or technical knowledge, advice and support to Sales Representatives and customers. Works as a collaborative member of the sales team to market and sell the Company's product lines. Provides insight to customers on current network situations. Works with moderate guidance in own area
of knowledge. Job Description Core Responsibilities Contribute individually and as part of a sales engineering team to support mid-market sales team's sales requirements.
Collaborate with regional sales executives to properly discover, design, and develop solutions that solve customer needs. Assist with creating professional solutions proposals for delivery to customers. Attend customer appointments in-person or via video call. Attend sales team huddles, engineering team huddles, one-on-ones, and coaching sessions all to support sales team goals and increasing revenue for the business. Provide technical product and process training to sales team members as well as other cross-functional
teams to share knowledge and experience for the benefit of the company.
Review and assist with both E-Rate and standard commercial customer requests and RFPs. Experience with the following preferred: SD-WAN (Managed and Co-Managed), Multi-Cloud Connectivity, SASE, Managed Security, Endpoint Detection, Unified Communications, Hosted Voice, Cisco Web Ex, MS Teams, SIP Trunking, IP Phones, Fiber, Coax, Wavelengths, Ethernet, MPLS, Switching, Routing, Routing Protocols, IP Addressing, Firewalls, Unified Threat Management, PRI, SIP, Managed/Professional Services, High Availability, Cellular Backup, International, MS Office Suite including Visio. Performs needs analyses for the Company and its customers and produces strategic, cost-effective solutions.
Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for field service questions. Supports Sales team with product modifications and engineering expertise for custom projects. Assists representatives and customers in evaluating and selecting products. Creates, reviews and executes product test plans and cases, documents test progress and reports results. Recommends products to meet customer needs. Recommends products to meet customer needs. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
