YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Structural/Bridge Engineer at EBA, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including: Performing structural analysis and design for
transportation structures such as bridges, retaining walls, box culverts, and pipes. Conducting load ratings for bridges, box culverts, and pipes. Preparing engineering calculations and developing design drawings.
Reviewing drawings and reports to develop bridge design options, repair recommendations, and cost estimates. Conducting fieldwork, including site visits and bridge inspections, and preparing inspection reports. Ensuring structural engineering work complies with AASHTO, MDOT SHA, and project-specific standards and requirements. CORE REQUIREMENTS: To excel in this role, candidates must possess: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering 1-7
years of relevant experience Proficiency in steel and concrete design Proficiency in using Micro Station and Auto CAD for bridge projects Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD code requirements Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) Experience using Micro Station and Auto CAD for bridge projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills U.
