team preparing to deliver the U. S. Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) system of inter-continental ballistic missiles and launch infrastructure. GBSD is a vital U. S. Air Force program designed to modernize the nation’s aging force of inter-continental ballistic missiles, which make up the ground element of the nuclear deterrent. As part of the Northrop Grumman GBSD nationwide team, Bechtel will provide launch system design, construction, and integration. A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled
such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century.

Responsibilities: Cost Analysis, Control and Data Integration activities: Assists in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, cost coding, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports. Performs performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications.
Determines scope definition requirements for a discipline or other specialty and works with Area/Functional support personnel and other sources to coordinate the production of required data to conform to the overall estimate preparation plan. Performs cost data integration, analysis and development. Coordinates quantity estimates for trends/baseline change proposals. Assists in developing specific project control accounts and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions. This includes training in the proper use and definitions for the cost accounts. Qualifications and Skills: Basic Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of professional experience.
US citizenship is required per contract. Must possess active security clearance or an ability to obtain security clearance. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check including verification of employment, education and travel. Must be able to obtain site security badge for access to work site. Additional Qualifications: Skilled in oral and written communication. Proficient in software applications such as Excel, Word and Power Point.
Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities. Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and objectives. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates intermediate level understanding of Project Controls general technical skills. Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience. Advanced competencies in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, etc. Proficiency in cost processor software applications (Cobra, Eco Sys, etc.
