The senior mechanical engineer with be responsible for coming up with new and creative ways to liquid cool high heat producing electronics and design electromechanical systems such as busbars and electrical connectors. This engineer will need to own the research, design, build and testing stages
of various proof of concepts and prototypes as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team. Qualifications? Bachelor? s in mechanical engineering or higher? Must have 5-10 years?
experience working with high voltage electronics for automotive use, inverters, DC to DC converters or batteries? The ideal R&D Design Engineer I candidate will have: B. S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a four year college or technical school or equivalent combination of experience or related education. Over 5 years related experience and/or training is required. Proficient with 3D modeling in CAD System (Solid Works is preferred) Proficient with GD&T Self-motivated team player with strong desire to learn and ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently and with minimal guidance Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Project management experience on large scale projects is a plus.
