Candidate is expected to work on aggressive timelines engaging with application and other infrastructure teams to maintain and design highly secure and complex network solutions. Candidate should be able to multitask and work in an agile environment. Senior level collaboration and leadership with multiple teams including but not limited to application teams, Dev Ops/Infrastructure

teams, security, architecture, engineering, and project management teams is expected in this role. Reports To: Manager, Network Engineering Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, implement, and operate secure and manageable switched and routed networks.

This includes all private, public, and business-partner network infrastructure and monitoring of the same. Implements according to defined processes, procedures and project schedules, and operates/monitors system platforms and processes as required. This is accomplished according to industry-standard best practices Develop and maintain an extensive understanding of the DBI’s on-premise and Cloud network environment Develop, validate,

and update key network engineering artifacts such as standards/best practices, design documents and decisions Design and document solutions to meet requirements and that are easily scalable for the enterprise Work closely with architects and IT teams to understand emerging technologies and how they would benefit the DBI and its users As senior technology leader work closely with infrastructure and security associates to understand emerging network technologies and their application in the evolving DBI network topology Transforming, integrating, and automating network infrastructure to tightly integrate with SDN (Software Defined Networking) Develop and write automation scripts (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Napalm) Develop and write to support the automation for network related changes/deployment Monitor and troubleshoot network related issues to support application teams Participate in network health diagnostics and optimization via proper monitoring and capacity planning and work to automate self-healing Assist with the definition and tracking of key performance metrics Required Skills: Knowledge on routing, switching, firewalls, and Load balancers is a must Very strong technical knowledge of enterprise networking solutions for large environments Demonstrated self-motivation, leadership ability, strong team player who enjoys a fast-paced atmosphere Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects Ability to learn very quickly in a fast-paced environment Experience working with frameworks and APIs is a must Worked in a team using agile methodologies Competencies: SETTING GOALS – Creates and follows effective plans.

Qualifications: Experience: 10+ years in designing, supporting/troubleshooting, and deploying network configurations 3+ years working with automation tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Napalm) Extensive experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols Experience with VPN technology, including remote user access, branch office connectivity, monitoring, and fault isolation Experience with wireless technologies, including 802.11b/g/n, WAP configuration, 802.1x, site surveys, monitoring, and fault isolation preferred (Cisco Autonomous, Unified Wireless, and/or Meraki product suite experience) Experience with packet capture hardware/software (Ethereal, Sniffer) to support fault isolation Experience with Data Center centric, Cloud services, and Software Defined Networking required Non-biased view of technologies, but specific extensive experience with the following technologies required: Meraki Security Appliances, Switches, and Access Points Cisco Switches, Routers, and Access Points Arista EOS Palo Alto Network Firewalls F5 LTM, Big-IP Citrix Net Scaler Experience with the following technologies: Pulse Secure Nortel Avaya Aruba Clearpass Education: B.
