In addition, responsible for the development and maintenance of a reliability predictive modeling tool for these facilities. Engineer classification is multi-level, based on the qualification guidelines outlined in the Company’s Engineer Career Path, Administrative Policy 2.13. A minimum classification of an Engineer II is required in this position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development and implementation of commercial & utility scale battery energy storage facilities, solar facilities, and collector station design/equipment specification review; health, criticality, and risk backssments; inspection, monitoring, and testing strategies; performance; safety; environmental and maintenance requirements.
Development and implementation of commercial & utility scale battery energy storage facilities, solar facilities, and collector station reliability plan using empirical data to predict reliability performance. Track, analyze and assist in reporting of reliability metrics for commercial & utility scale battery energy storage facilities, solar facilities, and collector
station. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive data collection and predictive modeling tool for commercial & utility scale battery energy storage facilities, solar facilities, and collector station that assists in the prioritization of expenditures.
Assist in the facilitation of system root cause analysis for commercial & utility scale battery energy storage facilities, solar facilities, and collector station. Assist in facilitation and tracking of resulting action plans to maintain appropriate system performance. Maintain measurement of commercial & utility scale battery energy storage facilities, solar facilities, and collector station performance to ensure achievement of organization vision and goals through performance benchmarking.
Participate in the development of commercial & utility scale battery energy storage facilities, solar facilities, and collector station O&M, capital and other budgets and manage expenditures accordingly. All other duties as assigned by the Manager, Solar Operations & Engineering. EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university Preferred: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. (Required at the Senior Consulting Engineer level) EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of 4 years of Engineer experience related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position is required.
