Experience performing general stress analysis to determinefaster bearing, shear out, joint strength, and doubler sizing. Experience in preparation of engineering repairdocumentationsto provide to technicians at various MRO facilities. Experience in assisting maintenance technicians
toevaluate damage accurately per the SRM. Experience in making a correct major/minor determination and identifyingwhat is being classified as major and minor.
Experience in developing substantiation reports to justify repair designs. And experience contacting OEM for support, including: Creating damage reports using photos, drawings, and SRMsections; Clearly communicating the issue to the OEM; Developing a suitable repair process; Clearly stating the processto the OEM and requesting approval; and communicating all relevant information to the OEM to reduce number ofmessages and obtain an approval in the shortest amount of time. Travel required 10-15% of the time domestically to WA, CA,
TX, FL, and Puerto Rico, and internationally to Canada and Costa Rica.
