You will help the Data Center team design and operate electrical and heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. You will seek different approaches to reducing operational costs while improving efficiencies through the operation and maintenance of water pumps and treatment systems, HVAC, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), generators, electrical distribution, and control and monitoring systems. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of experience at journeyman level or relevant experience in facilities within a critical environment. Preferred qualifications: Experience working in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or transmission operations. Experience with high-voltage electrical substations, or other mission-critical facility maintenance/operational experience. Knowledge of the electrical mechanical systems used in data center environments (i. e. feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS/PDU/PMM/CRAC/air handling units, and chillers). Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data center systems.

Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays, and on shift-based schedules as needed. Ability to learn and address issues as they arise. - Act as a data center technical lead, monitoring plant efficiency (i. e. Power Usage Effectiveness/Water Usage Effectiveness), and work with technicians, leads, and managers to drive site-level programs. - Provide a strategic approach to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), operations, and maintenance programs, focusing on compliance and program requirements.

Acts as a resource and mentor for Facility Technicians (FTs) to drive improvements and feedback for those programs. - Navigate organizational change processes and provide site-level feedback, ensuring appropriate SMEs are included, coordinating with FTs and managers to execute approved decisions, and properly close out technical bugs. - Provide input and direction in the data center commissioning processes and procedures including retesting requirements following replacement or major repairs. - Collaborate to provide technical direction/input on quality and reliability issues at sites.
