Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Engineer Systems Test - IFC Technical Lead. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel - Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You ' ll Get To Do: The selected candidate will join the Air Vehicle Equipment

Integration and Test (AVE I&T) Team to plan and perform vehicle level IFC integration and test activities for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) missile.

Function as the primary IFC point of contact for all AVE. Collaborate with other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and IFC leads to define IFC test objectives and requirements for developmental missile integration test activities at the AVE Integration Lab in Roy, UT. Work closely with Integrated Test Plan (ITP) authors to assure IFC requirements are included in AVE ITP Candidate will be required to learn and have an understanding of all the Air Vehicle components, elements, and knowledge of the external interfaces to AVE, including Command and Launch (C&L) and Support Structures.

Candidate will author Air Vehicle Equipment AVE-level test planning based on allocated requirements. Position requires knowledge of system engineering, and system integration and test principles Excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate will be required to prepare and brief to leadership on IFC test and integration Candidate will be expected to lead, grow, develop, and mentor fellow engineers. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. You ' ll Bring These Qualifications: 14 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelors; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with Ph D; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

Knowledge of system-level integration and test principles, test plan development, to include functional testing and checkout, and knowledge of requirements verification and validation. Previous test experience at any level of build (unit, element, segment, etc. ) These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

Knowledge of CAMEO and/or MBSE principals. Direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database. Experience with SMC-S-16 launch, upper-stage or space vehicle test requirements, test plan development and integration testing. Sentinel Systems Engineering or IFC experience Experience with ICBM integration Salary Range: $129,500 - $194,300The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
