closely with product development and manufacturing engineering on manufacturability of designs and proof of concepts on manufacturing processes. Independent judgment must be exercised frequently.
Specialized skills for this position are required at this level. Areas of expertise may include: electrical motor control circuits, controls, machine design, welding, fixture/tool design, machine troubleshooting, quality. What you'll be doing: Support development and improvement of manufacturing processes that meet or exceed process control goals with manufacturing engineering team Design, build and validate assembly fixtures that meet operations requirements for production as required Design,
build and validate check fixtures and measurement fixtures for critical features to maintain process control as required Maintain drawing files (CAD, PDF and other documentation) related to manufacturing fixtures and equipment as required.
Develop automation acumen that enables skills development for trouble shooting equipment such as robots, CNC programming, etc. …. Support the transition from design into production, including any necessary testing and training required for implementing new or changed designs Support die development with manufacturing engineering team of parts to ensure quality of finished components to meet manufacturing requirements Maintain close contact with the shop floor.
Listen to the problems and ideas. Prioritize and pursue the most important concerns. Responsible for resolving any and all issues as they arise Provide accurate documentation on changes requests Participate in value engineering projects to continually improve the cost efficiency of design and manufacturing processes Manage multiple project tasks as assigned in accordance with predetermined completion dates Support quality system initiatives to measure, record and track process capability on critical features Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment.
Participate in Lean initiatives. Develop and maintain standard work for assigned critical processes. Develop and maintain SOP’s for assigned manufacturing processes. Lead shop floor rearrangements & 5S activities as assigned What you should have: What you should have: Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school and/or certification program. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. 1-3 years of work experience required. Knowledge of CAD systems (Auto CAD and Inventor Preferred) SAP experience is a plus.

Your opportunity : The Application Engineer will provide technical coordination of application support, product planning and development, special designs and product and application training programs for internal and external customers. What you’ll be doing: Provide
technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external salespeople in the areas of product selection and application. Develop solutions for product applications Communicate solutions for unique applications including design & special pricing.
May travel to resolve field problems. Provide general product application support. Provide content for the development and updating of product literature. Responsible for identifying key selling points. Gather information for market studies. Work with engineering to develop scope for enhancements on existing products. Evaluates components for quality, reliability and performance and advise engineering and purchasing as to those components
which might enhance the product. Become familiar with the competitor's products and apply this knowledge to the company's advantage.
May assist with planning, coordination, and attendance of trade shows. Coordinate Computer Aided Product Selection (CAPS) planning, testing, and development.
