Job Description The SE3 will perform end to end management of a disconnected network enclave for the team including network engineering, Linux system administration, technical implementation of STE/STN requirements, IAVA patching,
and system security plan (SSP) accreditation processes. Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. Required Skills The contract has a current opening for a level 2 or a level 3 Systems Engineer.
In order to be successful in this role, the contractor must have experience in the following: Linux automation, setup, hardening, to include meeting CS2/STIG and STE requirements Scripting ability Graylog (preferred) or Splunk configuration, design, and implementation experience Nagios, Zabibix, or other FOSS system monitoring design and implementation Familiarity with customers Information Systems (IS) accreditation an d Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, as welll
as familiarity with STE/STN requirements and policy Desired Skills Elastisearch management Virtualization experience (ESXi, Nutanix preferred); vdi Windows administration experience Programming experience with languages including.
NET languages (U) Alluvio (formerly River Bed) Net IM Required Education and Experience Level 2- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Level 3 -Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Required Education: Level 2/Level 3 Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
