Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and asset owner to identify root causes of downtime then create an action plan to eliminate downtime by establishing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance program. Development of life cycle asset management by designing, installing, and modifying equipment to reduce failure and minimize the total cost of ownership. Develop benchmark for optimal
MRO suppliers and equipment maintenance service providers. Review and optimize MRO supplies to provide reduced downtime, repair times, and optimize spending.
Professionally and systematically define, design, develop, monitor and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes value-added preventive maintenance tasks. Effectively utilize predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems. Works with production group to perform analyses of assets including Asset Utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Remaining Useful Life and other parameters that define operating condition, reliability and costs of assets.
Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions. Perform work within applicable standards, guidelines, and procedures. Perform GEMBA walks to observe the process being improved. Real world observation and active engagement in the field must be part of daily routine. Facilitate equipment and building start-up and training activities. Understand, gather, apply, and report monthly metrics on asset performance. Ensure individual training and certification requirements are completed. Ensure assigned CAPA's and deviation tasks are completed on time.
Utilize quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Lead change control and tasks to deploy improvements with help from stakeholders. Function as a technical resource on equipment and systems, such as developing PM procedures and troubleshooting Requirements Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field and 3 - 5 years experience as a Reliability Engineer. Experience in reliability engineering tools such as FMEA, RCM, MTBF, Life-Cycle Costing, Pareto, and RCFA. Direct experience within regulated environments such as c GMP, OSHA, EPA and good understanding of Quality Systems.
Proven ability to apply technical theories and concepts in the biotechnical / medical industries. Proficiency utilizing MS Office suite applications, especially Excel (pivot tables, statistical modeling, forecasting and prediction, macros, charts and graphs, index matching, conditional formatting, power query, sparklines)Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and/or Enterprise Management System (EAM). Experience with Infor EAM CMMS a plus. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
