This position requires an understanding of projects relating to the design, construction and maintenance of transmission facilities. Coordinating encroachment responses with Right-of-Way Services and Transmission Line Maintenance personnel and ensure that public safety is protected. Qualifications include: A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (BSCE, BSEE, BSME) from an ABET accredited institution is required. Acceptable alternatives are: (1) a Professional Engineer's (PE) License (2) a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or technical field of study (non-ABET) plus an advanced degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program is required. Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience is required. A Professional Engineering (PE) Certificate is preferred.
