As an RN, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as infection preventionists and environmental services staff, to implement these measures and ensure that the healthcare environment remains safe for patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements Some RNs choose to become certified in infection control through organizations such as the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC). Certification shows that you have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in infection
