Responsibilities: Conduct backssments: Administer and interpret psychological backssments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
Individualized Education Programs (IEP): Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs for students with special needs. Counseling Services: Provide counseling services to students individually or in group settings, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Crisis Intervention: Assist in crisis
intervention and response, supporting students, staff, and families during challenging situations. Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to provide consultation on academic and behavioral interventions.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret student data to inform decision-making and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies. Professional Development: Stay current on research and best practices in school psychology, attending professional development opportunities as needed. Requirements: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid state certification/license in School Psychology. Compliance with all local and state regulations.
Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
