on our expertise and commitment to safety in order to deliver on their commitments. What You'll Do Operate a Class A yard horse or tractor trailer to shuttle trailers in the yard and between warehouses a few blocks apart. Perform this work generally between 12 pm and 8:30 pm, 5 days per week.
Up to 2 hours of overtime per day may be required. Schedule includes 2 days off, usually not consecutive days. Earn $25 per hour, overtime after 40 hours per week, with excellent health benefits, 401K, PTO and more. What Experience You Need A valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in the state of residence, and minimum 2 years of recent verifiable CDL A experience. No more than
four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12 months. Also no driving while intoxicated or under influence of drugs for past five (5) years.
No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle within three years. No violations for reckless driving, speeding 15 MPH over the speed limit, lane changes, or texting/handheld device use while driving or other " serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last three (3) years. (See FMCSR parts 382, 391, 392 and 397). Physical Requirements: Demonstrated ability to sit for long periods
of time in a vehicle. Also must be able to repeatedly and quickly adjust vehicle controls to exact positions for several hours per day.
While driving, operators are exposed to noise and vibration levels which may be higher than those typically experienced in passenger cars. Demonstrated manual dexterity and coordination of two (2) or more limbs with normal movements while sitting, standing, or lying down. This does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion. Demonstrated ability to talk, hear, and see sufficiently to complete assigned tasks. Must be able to visually identify details from distances. May be required to carry loads related to travel and occasionally lift, carry, position, or move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
Demonstrated ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions sufficient to partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes. Demonstrated judgment skills sufficient to identify which of several objects is closer or farther away and to accurately ascertain distance between self and other objects. Demonstrated ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

BENEFITS INFORMATION: For information on Sysco's Benefits, please visit JOB SUMMARY This is a finance position responsible for checking in drivers who have completed their routes by performing product counts, compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of the material, equipment, merchandise.
Also responsible for inspecting all products returns and documenting appropriate information for efficient processing of items. RESPONSIBILITIES Check-in drivers who have completed their routes by verifying product returned, customers signed the invoice and possible missed deliveries; account
for pallets, totes and other company property is returned. Identify missed collections and notify Credit Services. Ensure food safety protocols were followed on the return and coordinate with Food Safety personnel for issues.
Assure all delivery exceptions are noted on the invoice and/or delivery exception report. Inspect returned products to determine restocking appropriateness or deciding if the customer warrants the credit. Decide and adjust as needed the appropriate reason code on invoice to provide efficient processing; code damaged or inferior products with the appropriate damage code and write the code on the damaged case. Separate and stage for return processing all products,
and count the returned items to ensure quantities match the quantity written on the return sheet and invoices.
List overage on the return sheet following the " available stock/warehouse location" report to re-enter the product into the inventory system as soon as possible. QUALIFICATIONS Education High school degree or equivalent. Experience 1 year of pallet jack and/or forklift experience. Professional Skills Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of an organization. Must have exemplary listening skills to facilitate effective two- way communication. Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Solid problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: A teammate in this job will train side-by-side with a Driver Trainer to acquire the skills necessary to perform the following functions: Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and handle lines to secure. Operates truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. Inspect tractor-trailer
equipment for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. Operates Driver Delivery Handheld (DDH), document delivery receipts/product temperatures and exceptions.
Inspects trailer to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport of product. Rides and trains with Driver Trainer of tractor-trailer to various destinations, gaining knowledge of commercial driving regulations and observing the Driver's skill in starting engine properly, approaching intersections, making turns, backing, parking, and maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. Maintain driver log (Manual or People Net) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt,
product temperatures and exceptions. Assists the Driver in unloading trailer and delivering product into customer premises.
