-----Key Responsibilities Maintains and operates company assigned vehicles according to State and Federal DOT/DMV standards regarding safe transportation of non-hazardous and hazardous---materials including proper HAZMAT placarding when required. -- Responsible for general maintenance on company assigned tractors, trailers, and forklifts which may include but is not limited to replenishing fuel, checking
and replenishing fluid levels, tire wear and air pressure monitoring, monitor vehicles general operational systems, assisting location manager with scheduling state inspection requirements, maintaining and scheduling routine service and maintenance, keeping inside and outside of vehicle clean and presentable.
----- Maintains accurate pre and post trip driver's logs and inspection sheets according to State and Federal DOT requirements. ----- Operates warehouse forklift, prepares product for delivery, securely loads product on the truck for delivery to customer locations following company required safety procedures at all times. as needed. -- Responsible for offloading products at customer locations, assisting customers with rotating products as needed.
