The purpose of the Environmental Consultant position is to provide consulting services to clients, either in-house, off-site, or through internet technology.

This includes: conducting audits & backssments, developing and implementing customized solutions, and providing training, advisory, and technical support to clients. J. J. Keller® Consulting Services : /shop/Product/J-J-Keller-Consulting-Services Job Responsibilities Provides consulting and

educational services to clients, either in-house, off-site or through Internet technology. Develops, documents, and maintains curriculum and materials for general and client-specific applications.

Technically-proficient specialist adept at emission calculations, data analysis, control technologies, compliance auditing, permitting, and strategic regulatory analyses. Conducts environmental audits and backssments, develops customized reports and manuals, and delivers regulatory related training. Maintains a high level of regulatory expertise. Monitors and backsses regulatory changes, communicates regulatory information to staff and clients. Proactively develops additional business within

client base. Identifies and analyzes customer needs, develops concepts and proposals, schedules activities and closes contracts.

Completes routine environmental reports for clients including Tier II, Toxic Release Inventory, Semiannual Deviation Reports, Annual Compliance Certifications, Emission Inventories, and Greenhouse Gas Reports. Identifies and develops additional service offerings. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental or a Science related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience as an environmental practitioner in a consulting and/or corporate environment. Other Skills/Qualifications: Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates and client representatives at all levels. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Understanding of sales, marketing and business finance concepts/applications. Knowledge of EHS to include environmental compliance at both a national and state level. Workplace safety experience a plus. Self-starter with strong cognitive problem-solving abilities. Motivated goal-oriented individual with excellent organization, planning & implementation, time-management, and quality control skills.

Physical Requirements Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $125,000.00 to $145,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location.
