Currently, Man Tech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager - Server/Network Installation to join our team based out of Chantilly, VA. The Project Manager must exhibit good judgment in interfacing with all government and contract personnel, providing proper examples of work performance, and adherence to professional standards and operational and security guidelines as defined by the Government and Man Tech International, Inc.

Job Description: Typically oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that

normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.

The Server Installation Manager coordinates with the Senior Deployment Operations Manager to manage and support nationally and internationally deployed installation teams on a 24/7 basis. Assists in the overall coordination and management of a major program, specifically in the areas of Information Technology Deployment Operations and Deployment Support, ensuring complete

and efficient operational processes. Maintains records and assists in operational status reporting, day-to-day deployment problem resolutions and activating solutions channels.

Assists with status and task management reports, sets up and manages project facilities as dictated by workload requirements. Intensive customer interaction, developing schedule for installations, maybe required to schedule flights and obtain VISA’s for travelers, work with travel team, ability to convey information through phone conversations, track deployment status. Manage non-routine (e. g. emergency) server installation support services. Develop and maintain a refresh plan for all domestic and overseas facilities.

Coordinate with the applicable Post and Consular Facility points of contact to arrange server installations and minimize disruptions to on-going activities. Coordinate logistics with the other functional elements of this contract (e. g. shipping and receiving, deployment, training, etc. ). Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on Server/Network and other scripting SME Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated organizational proficiency Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.

Experience in Customer Service Clearance Requirements: Must have active interim Secret clearance or above Other Requirements: Must be able to travel at least 25% Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time. Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer. Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer.

Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc. Must be able to deliver presentations as needed. Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; IT service requests; work orders; etc. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U. S. -person status or obtaining any necessary license.
