Position Overview We are recruiting for a Business Process Improvement Consultant who will mange projects to include providing recommendations and execution for the following areas: streamlining and simplifying business processes,
corporate action management, benchmarking and program metrics, data management, surveys, and assistance with business reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities Provide assistance to support strategic policy backssments and program development, Prepare briefings and related materials for reporting to leadership across the Sponsor’s enterprise. Support coordination among disparate projects and government teams to drive quality outcomes and facilitate technical progress toward the strategic objectives of the organization. Experience with AGILE methodologies to work with project team Scrum Masters to track strategy implementation progress and provide office leadership with potential options that leverage industry leading practices for establishing more lean agile approaches.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a business process improvement related discipline Experience working with different components of the Intelligence Community Experience managing highly visible projects to include providing recommendations and execution and execution for the following areas: streamlining and simplifying business processes, corporate action management, benchmarking and program metrics, data management, surveys, and assistance with business reporting and analytics.
Experience coordinating and integrating disparate projects across multiple government teams to drive quality outcomes, document and facilitate progress toward larger strategic objectives. Strong interpersonal skills necessary to elicit cooperation and support from others and to interact tactfully and effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and other Agency employees. Strong oral and written communication skills sufficient for responses to corporate actions, substantive research topics, and issues to a wide range of technical and non-technical customers, co-workers, and managers Ability to manage competing priorities and work requirements by continuously evaluating the needs of the organization’s mission against on-going work; and planning/scheduling their own work and that of the unit.
Ability to interact with people who have different values, cultures, or backgrounds, as well as customers, employees, and managers at all levels.
