Get To Know The Team: The Associate Solutions Consultant is a hybrid role that combines the former Solutions Analyst role with the role of Solutions Consultant.

It is a junior level position within the Solutions Consulting team. The Associate Solutions Consultant is responsible for supporting the Solutions Consulting team and helping to ensure key sales operations activities are completed in an efficient and accurate manner. They function as a liaison between the sales team and the rest of the Black Diamond organization, ensuring the sales organization is armed with the most up to date knowledge they need

about Black Diamond's processes and/or products. What You Will Get To Do: Solutions Analyst facet of role Help research, write and edit detailed responses to corporate & product specific RFP questions Maintain the Black Diamond RFP database and updates responses on a continual basis Partner with product experts and internal/external knowledge resources to understand product and process enhancements; communicates changes or enhancements to internal sales organization as needed Assist in researching details around prospect needs and business strategies during due diligence process; helps to streamline demo process or sample reports based on client discovery results Build and maintain supporting documentation for the sales team (i.

e. slide decks, product enhancements, service agreements, etc. ) Build sample report packages for Black Diamond prospects Assist in supporting the data and information gathering process for large prospect deals; may help to assign ownership and manage tasks that need to be completed in order to bring deals to closure Coordinate special project requests from prospects (Sales) and recently signed clients (Implementation) including working with internal stakeholders on project sizing, feasibility and timing. Coordinate with sales team and responds to requests in a timely manner Stay up to date on product backlog, prioritization, and roadmap and communicates this information back to the sales organization in a timely manner Research custodial updates, communications, changes, and trends; help to keep the sales informed of key implications to the industry or Black diamond based on this information flow Assist with other sales projects as needed Solutions Consultant facet of role Assist clients and prospects with optimizing the value of Black Diamond Communicate best practices to help clients achieve their strategic goals Work closely with our Sales Executives to support opportunities through deep product/platform expertise and industry knowledge Work closely with service and implementation teams on current client relationships by providing deep product/platform expertise and client needs Utilize a consultative approach to present key functional & technical consultancy and best practice information to prospects and clients Build relationships with prospective, new and strategic clients; utilizes effective communication to drive proactive and consultative discussions with key clients Translate complex client business models & work flows Provide detailed, effective solutions to ensure clients can operate in an efficient manner Communicates our operational processes, platform features & total client experience to both internal and external sources Act as a liaison between our prospects/clients and our product group on any unique special projects Assist Sales Executives and lead product demonstrations & technical discussions via web, conference call or onsite meetings as required to close new business or enhance current client relationships Recommend process/procedure changes to better utilize Black Diamond's platforms and services Propose best practices, configuration consultation and issue resolution guidance based on understanding of clients desired results Assist internal customers with solutions, techniques and common technical & functional questions What You Will Bring: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent years of experience 4-6 years of experience in operations or sales, preferably in the Financial Services industry General knowledge of Black Diamond products or performance reporting a plus Excellent written, oral, presentation and communication skills Advanced attention to details and organization skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel & Power Point, as well as Loopio (RFP management) and Consensus (demo automation technology) is preferred.
