Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Standard work week for full-time employees is five days. Schedules will vary based on the company’s needs. Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Required Education and Experience: Within the last 10 years, 5 years’ experience with: heavy equipment, semi-truck, diesel, Paccar, and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Skills and knowledge: Able to inspect and diagnose all equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts or components. Keep logs on repairs. Maintain tools and equipment. Good physical condition. Valid Driver’s License. ASE certification not required but a plus. Hydraulics, Pneumatics, electrical, pumps, etc. Understanding of drawings or schematics. Oxygen/acetylene cutting, welding, brazing, electric arc welding, plasma cutter. Other Duties: As assigned.
