What role you will play in our team We are looking for Electricians at our Beaumont Chemical Plant. An Electrician must be able demonstrate an ability to safely install all components of instrument control and electrical systems. An Electrician must safely troubleshoot, analyze, and repair components of these systems. These systems components include but are not limited to motors, transformers, switchgear, lighting, relays, Programmable Logic Controllers, battery systems and chargers, distribution wiring and piping, instrumentation, control valves, DCS Systems, controllers, UPS Systems, and similar equipment.

Dismantle/Troubleshoot electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts. Install and maintain various types of motors, motor control systems, motor operated valves, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers and transformers. Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacements. Install ground leads. Interpret blueprints, Electrical One-line drawings, Electrical Schematics and perform work by these or verbal instructions. Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications. Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers. Perform preventive maintenance on High Voltage Substations, High Voltage Transformers, Breakers, and distribution panels.
