Essential Functions Statement(s) Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Support all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations.

Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment. Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment

to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices. Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.

Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery. Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems. Record repairs and maintenance performed. Study blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery. Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary. Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment. Fabricate and install

any & all structural steel, pipe supports & brackets that may be needed Rebuild air and centrifugal pumps Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.

This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the operation and management of the shift and overall plant POSITION QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Minimum of 2 years’ related experience working in a chemical manufacturing maintenance department Eligibility Requirements: Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed Ability and willingness to work weekends as needed Ability and willingness to wear a respirator as required Ability and willingness to operate a fork truck DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES Associate Degree (two year college or technical school) or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years’ related experience in a chemical Manufacturing Plant Certified welder: tig, mig, stick.

Carbon steel, stainless steel, Aluminum Certified on Stainless steel and & carbon steel pipe. (Heli arc) 6G position Excellent communication and documentation skills Attention to detail Strong computer and math skills Team player, individual thinker Experienced in Aluminum welding (Heliarc & mig welding), and metal fabrication Experienced in solder copper piping, plasma and oxy fuel cutting systems Able to look at piping details that are needed and fabricate and install without help from Iso’s or engineering help
