Plant mechanics are respected team members, performing preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs on our production equipment such as pea and corn receiving equipment, huskers, cutters and freezers. of all machinery in the assigned area. Assist with training seasonal employees in the safe, proper, and efficient operation of equipment to which they are assigned.
During Off Season (November – May): In the off-season, will be involved in any number of maintenance activities including machine/freezer repair/overhaul, cleaning, building walkways and work platforms, and assisting in the installation of new processing equipment.
