Job Responsibilities Our technician will be required to support a Biologics Manufacturing Facility: Must have knowledge of utility and facility equipment, such as air handlers, refrigeration, cold rooms, chillers, boilers, pumps and drives, electrical switchgear, power distribution equipment, and emergency generators.
May work with water purification processing and sanitization skids, clean steam, chemical or water treatment equipment and autoclaves. Experience with refrigeration
systems within cold rooms, refrigerators, freezers, ultra-low freezers (-80C), incubators and HVAC systems. Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes.
Detail oriented and ability to complete any required (Gx P) documentation in a timely manner, including logbooks and work orders. Support 24x7, as secondary rotational on-call support. Minimum qualifications: HS diploma/GED, technical school, certificate of completion at a 2-year technical school, or experience in plant or equipment maintenance, or military training and experience in biotech/ medical industry.5+ years proficiency performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and utility equipment.
Experience with 3-Phase Power is a must! Preferred qualifications Electrical issue solving experience.
Must be familiar with mechanical schematics, piping diagrams, P&IDs, electrical schematics and single line diagrams, Control/Instrumentation Wiring knowledge. Able to work in a clean room environment and lift 50 pounds. GMP/Critical Facility Experience.
