and transportation projects assigned to the Geotechnical Engineer Activity. Oversee, direct, operate, and schedule the maintenance and repair of transport vehicles, drill rigs, and tooling.
Manage the inventory of tooling, equipment, and routine supplies and materials needed to support geotechnical drilling activities. Provide training, supervision, and instructional guidance to drilling assistants competencies as per the firms Quality Manual and Safety Guidelines of individual project assigned to the specific field crew(s), operation and maintenance of geotechnical exploration drill rigs and support vehicles, and prepare and document maintenance log for preventive equipment maintenance

What role you will play in our team We are looking for Electricians at our Beaumont Chemical Plant. An Electrician must be able demonstrate an ability to safely install all components of instrument control and electrical systems. An Electrician must safely troubleshoot, analyze, and repair components of these systems. These systems components include but are not limited to motors, transformers, switchgear, lighting, relays, Programmable Logic Controllers, battery systems and chargers, distribution wiring and piping, instrumentation, control valves, DCS Systems, controllers, UPS Systems, and similar equipment.
What you will do Safely perform duties with strict adherence to procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and company policy. Take ownership of personal safety and safety of co-workers and community. Troubleshoot electrical equipment, use test equipment, and understand electrical safety. Receive daily schedule and work permits to determine activities to be performed.
Dismantle/Troubleshoot electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts. Install and maintain various types of motors, motor control systems, motor operated valves, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers and transformers. Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacements. Install ground leads. Interpret blueprints, Electrical One-line drawings, Electrical Schematics and perform work by these or verbal instructions. Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatuses, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications. Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers. Perform preventive maintenance on High Voltage Substations, High Voltage Transformers, Breakers, and distribution panels.
Install and inspect various types of conduit installations. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Receive training in new or changes in codes, procedures, and processes relating to the industrial electrical field.
