Job Summary Perform civil construction supervisory responsibilities for major new, replacement and upgraded electric facilities for the Inside Plant Construction Group in the Projects and Construction (P&C) Organization. Job Responsibilities Manages and coordinates the work of multiple contractors and trades. Resolves Contractor conflicts, schedule issues and labor disputes. Drives/promotes safety throughout the job site and ensure environmental compliance. Interfaces with governmental

agencies for regulatory compliance with permitting and licensing requirements.

Directs the layout, excavation, fabrication and construction of concrete foundations and structures for the installation of inside plant major equipment. Provides daily job site inspection of work to ensure completion in accordance with established designs, specifications and PSE&G/industry standards. Completes construction reports, Contractor billing, in-service reports, Contractor/vendor evaluations and project close-out reports. Perform on-call duties and provide emergency response and restoration of major inside plant failures. Must complete necessary training and qualify to hold an assignment in PSE&G’s Tagging System.

Maintains and applies working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls. Job Specific Qualifications Required skills: Must possess demonstrated leadership skills, professionalism and customer/client focus. High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum four (4) years’ experience. Extensive knowledge and experience in civil construction for electric substations/switching stations. Exhibit knowledge of computer based business applications. Must have strong written and oral communications skills.

Because the job requires driving to company locations and off-site assignments and events, must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe and satisfactory driver history.
