This full time coworker is responsible for: Operating HTST pasteurizers in accordance with HACCP requirements and regulatory compliance Sample, screen, and receive milk, orange juice, and sugar loads within regulatory guidelines, as well as perform constant quality checks Monitor equipment for proper temperature, pressure, and flow Operate equipment per production schedule Maintain appropriate sanitation of equipment; test products and product tanks for appropriate butter fat Properly document charts, logs, SOPs, and SSOPs Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with the possibility of weekends working
1:30pm to 9:30pm Qualifications: Forklift certified or the ability to become forklift certified Must have current license with the state of WI for the operation of the HTST systems or be able to complete the course and pass the test within a reasonable time frame Ability to adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards and procedures Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the Dairy industry Knowledge of applicable regulatory laws; ability to read, understand, and interpret numbers; ability to operate production equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Accurate/detail oriented; ability to work well alone and as part of a team Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Ability to self-motivate and carry out daily tasks with minimal supervision Ability to exercise sound judgment within company guidelines Prior experience in a Dairy facility is preferred but not required.
Physical qualifications: bend/reach/twist frequently; lift/carry 32 pounds to 84 inches constantly; stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift constantly; lift/carry 55 pounds to chest level occasionally; push/pull 55 pounds of force occasionally.
